83 Pace Arrow Motor-home and 83 GM Chassis data made available to all to play it forward

When I bought my 83 Pace Arrow motor home I began to seek out all of the manuals I needed, and was lucky enough to have Eugene Kocmoud "Gene", from Texas, who not only responded, but took the time to scan them all and email them to me.

So I asked his permission to be allowed to play it forward, so I begun to reformat all of the PDF files he sent me over to a easier jpeg format to make them more available to any and all who may need them. More down-loadable than Adobe format anyway, in my opinion.

I have also added other items that I think that is helpful in regard to just general RVing for your review. If you have anything that you deem useful please submit it to me for my review and if I also feel it is worthwhile I will be happy to add your posting to this blog and give you credit for it.

Also you will discover that some of the pages are not a large as other or not going in the correct direction, and as hard as I tried to get them to do what I wanted to, many pages had a mind of their own, and would not allow it, many smaller pages will not display in the larger format, which I choose to make it easier overall to read, so to insure I includes all necessary pages I allowed them to remain in their chosen format in order to make them available to you.

I did not attempt to second guess what anyone may want and or need, if I had the complete booklet I posted it, I included any and all front and back pages rather they were printed on or not to insure that you would have the complete guide available to you, with out question.

I hope that you are able to get the best use from these manuals and you also play it forward and also share them with others who may need them.

PLEASE, feel free to copy and print all that I have provided in this blog, but if I ever hear of anyone selling them, I will take the blog down and will never make them available on-line again, so it will not benefit anyone, I am providing them free of all charges as they were giving to me, and I expect them to remain Free of all charges.

  14. I have a 1983 Pace Arrow motorhome. The refrigerator was switched out from original to a bit old refrigerator. Don’t know the year but I’m sure it’s really old too. I can’t get the pilot to light for it. It has a couple times then went out. The previous owner claimed everything worked. I bought this with knowing that there were two solar panels and the inverter box or converter box which ever it’s called. It had three batteries the large ones that cost two hundred dollars. And a propane fuel line that hooks up to a bbq tank. After I gave her the money $1200 that she promised wouldn’t raise the price she did to 1500. I get the RV and they removed the batteries the solar panels and the propane fiel line. Then I was given a registration paper no pink slip. It wasn’t in her name. With all they shifted me for I asked for my money back. They said no. So I’ve been cleaning it up and oh the septic tank was so full I couldn’t use it. Now tell me someone anyone what would you have done. I’ve been cleaning it and putting it back together little by little the best I can in my own. I’m so conflicted. I would like to have feedback and also the owners Manuel. Thank you all for taking time to read this and share your thoughts I appreciate you all. Truly concerned and bewildered, Vicki .

    1. Hello and welcome to the RV life Vicki. it does suck to get stuck with a full septic system as well as not getting the solar system you were expecting, but let me ask this do you see any signs of water intrusion, like paneling soft around ceiling vents or the TV ant, or below the windows. I live in FL currently and have an 83 Pace Arrow also. It seems to have some structural steel tube framing that needs replacing, now I am a welder and have the skills and equipment to do the repair its the time and money that I dont have a whole lot of at the moment as I'm hoping to put it back together enough to make a trip out west to see my newest grandson. I sure could use a pen pal or copilot even more, someone doing the same type thing. Oh by the way my names Jeff...write back if you see this or email me at btfojeff@yahoo.com or message me at 239-810-7580

  15. Jeff, hi! I had forgotten that I wrote this. I don’t know when you’re coming to California I’m in the Otay Mesa area in San Diego. I have so many problems with this motorhome I’m overwhelmed. Leaks around windows are obvious. The grey water is leaking. I can’t shower cuz the toilet fills with water while pump is on so that’s a bother. The septic pipe is leaky and the refrigerator works.
I got under the sink cuz the food center wasn’t working. The switches for the pump and foos center went bad now from rusting.
I went around the windows with flex seal spray and a silicone tube to reinforce sealing it was promising but under neath man. The leaking scares me. I bought this being told everything worked. But that proved wrong. Also the micro wave isn’t working. I found where I can buy that butyl tape I think it’s called. For really cheap price. A lot on my plate. Help! I have people telling me they will do this or that and it’s been since August and nothing has development into anything more than just al talk. Here’s my number.
619-695-3539 or valbanese31@gmail.com. Thank you for answering my first request.
